After School CTE Courses

After school CTE courses are a great way to learn about different career paths, gain hands on experience, and earn A-G credit.  These courses are offered after the school day ends usually starting at 4 p.m. or later.  After school CTE courses are offered at all off our district high school campuses so review the schedule to confirm course locations.  You are responsible for transportation to off campus after school CTE courses.

Visit the College and Career Center on your campus to learn more about which courses will be offered for the upcoming school year.  Career Guidance Specialists can answer questions about courses and assist you with next steps in how to register.  Some CTE courses are very popular and fill quickly so don't wait!

Connect with your counselor or Career Guidance Specialist on steps to register for an after school CTE course.  Be sure to review the times and locations to make sure you are able to attend the full class!

Sometimes after school CTE courses fill up so quickly there isn't enough room for everyone who is interested.  When this happens, you are put on a waitlist.  If a student drops or changes their schedule, a seat opens up, it will go to the first person on the waitlist.  Keep an eye on your email or connect with your Career Guidance Specialist for more information about your waitlist status.
