Welcome Back to the 2026-2027 School Year

Dear CCA Team, 
Welcome back! As we begin the 2026-2027 school year, I hope you take a moment to celebrate what we accomplished together last year. Because of your passion, creativity, and commitment to students, CCA continues to grow in both our reach and our impact. 
 
Together, we have so much to celebrate: 

  • Helped more students complete CTE pathways than ever before, growing from 703 to 923 pathway completers, an incredible 31 % increase in one year!
  • Expanded college opportunities for our students, adding five new dual enrollment courses, with even more coming this year.
  • Continued to grow and strengthen our pathways, adding new courses and capstones that give students more opportunities to explore their passions and prepare for their futures.
  • Opened exciting new doors into the skilled trades, with more than 100 students earning certificates through our Western States Carpenters Pre-Apprenticeship Program while we laid the ground work for our first Youth Apprenticeships.
  • Brought our regional construction vision at Union High School to life, creating a new hands-on learning environment and welcoming 27 students into our first BITA Summer Intensive.
  • Secured millions of dollars in resources while elevating student voice and the CCA story, strengthening our programs and expanding opportunities for students to lead, share their experiences, and champion CTE throughout our communities.
 
These accomplishments are worth celebrating because behind evety number is a student who discovered a passion, gained confidence, earned college credit, developed a new skill, or saw a future they may not have imagined before. That is the impact of your work. 
 
As we begin this new year, I am reminded of the words of Henry Ford: 

"Coming together is a beginning; keeping together is progress; working together is success." 
 
We have built tremendous momentum, and I could not be more excited about what comes next. Thank you for the heart, energy, and commitment you bring to CCA and, most importantly, to our students.
